The Online Alarm Registration System (OARS) is setup to mimic the existing paper registration form you already have in place as closely as possible.  Each one of our clients receive a custom tailored registration layout screen to meet your specific needs.

The Online Alarm Registration System (OARS) is a cloud based software application that allows your alarm owner to register a permit or registration, pay the fee for the application by credit card or Echeck, and have the ability to update key holders or other important information throughout the year.

The OARS system reduces the amount of time that your staff will spend with data entry from a paper registration form.  Online renewals and updates by the alarm owner are simple and easy. 

The OARS system requires a verified email address in order to register, allowing you to communicate quickly back to the alarm owner, reducing your time on the telephone.

You may still have alarm owners that would prefer to send in a paper registration and the WEBFAB system, combined with OARS, is designed to match online registrations with previously registered paper registrations using the same unique address matching technology that exists for importing false alarm incidents.

 

Features of OARS

  • Captures a valid email address for future renewal notices by email, resulting in postal expense reduction.
  • Forgot / Change My password feature.
  • Change my email address feature.
  • Alarm Administrator has the option to bypass the payment screen for an alarm owner, allowing a registraiton to be processed, and a check to be mailed.  Usually used for corporate entities. 

  • The OARS system can be configured to allow the alarm owner to register with or without a payment.

  • If you choose to configure your system as registration only with no credit card merchant, when the registration data is synchronized with the WEBFAB system, the system can trigger an invoice to be mailed out during the next billing cycle.

  • Your jurisdiction has the option to take online registration or false alarm payments with the OARS system.

  • Registration payment required based on any number of days before the expiration date.

  • Interfaces with Credit Card and Echeck merchants Authorize.net, JP Morgan Chase (Payconexion), Paypal.  

  • Late fees based on 30 to 60 days, 60 to 90 days
  • Fee based on if you have had a false alarm or not in the last 365 or 180 days
